State Withholding - 3.07% of all wages
State Unemployment

.09% (.0009) of all wages
Local Withholding - City of Reading - 1.5%
County - 1.0% of all wages
Occupational Privilege Tax - Assessed in locality worked
Can vary from $0 - $52

Records to be Kept by Employers

The Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Law provides that each employer, whether
or not liable for the payment of contributions under the Law, shall keep accurate employment
records containing such information as may be prescribed by the regulations adopted by the
Department.
